Start with a clean vase

Unwrap your bouquet and place it in a clean vase filled with fresh water. Add the supplied flower food, following the packet instructions.

Give stems a fresh cut

Using clean, sharp scissors or shears, trim about an inch from the stems at an angle. Remove any leaves that would sit below the waterline.

Keep things fresh

Check the water daily and change it every two days, or sooner if it becomes cloudy. Rinse the vase, remove fading flowers and give the stems a fresh trim.

Choose a cool spot

Keep flowers away from direct sun, heaters, drafts and ripening fruit. For arrangements already in a vessel, check the water level carefully each day and top up as needed.
